You come upon this old graveled road. Where it leads to you are not sure but something inside you just nags to go forward. Slowly your foot presses against the gas pedal as your truck begins to creep forward, tires crunching against the gravel, your horse kicks the side of the trailer in excitement as he smells the pasture full of mares. After traveling down the road for what seems like forever the trees covering each sides of the road burst open to a large ranch. It looks small at first but as you drive closer it starts to come into view more, with endless pastures rolling all directions. Horses stop grazing long enough to raise their heads to look at you before turning away, some running along side the fence nickering in joy, young colts bounce and run then squeal in joy at the sight of guests, others turn back to their grazing without a care in the world, letting the sun warm their backs as they feed. Driving into the large driveway you stop and step out slowly to take in the sheer beauty of the place. Looking around your eyes fall upon the stable that reads Diamondback Ranch. After you take everything in you turn to see a young man named Ryan stepping from the breeze way, smile on his face as he welcomes you to Diamondback Ranch. |
